CPA Wins Top Patent & Trademark Agencies Awards at 2024 China IP Forum

On 1 December 2024, the 11th China IP Forum cum the 6th China Science and Technology Innovation Forum with the theme of "Enabling high-level self-reliance and achieving high-quality industrial development" were held in Beijing.

The forum featured the release of the 2024 China IP & Antitrust Service Capability Rankings. We are glad to share that our firm China Patent Agent (H.K.) Ltd. (CPA) was placed among the "Top 25 Patent Agencies" as well as the "Top 10 Trademark Agencies", and in addition, CPA general manager Mr. Wu Yuhe was conferred the honour of "Top Ten Patent Attorneys of the Year". Our firm was represented at the awards presentation ceremony by Mr. Peng Xiaobing, deputy director of our Beijing Office.

The rankings of the CIPF IP service capability survey were derived on the basis of materials supplied by and available information related to the candidate firms and professionals; review of past top ten cases awarded by the Supreme People's Court of China (SPC), the Beijing High Court, the Beijing Intellectual Property Court, the Shanghai Intellectual Property Court, the Guangzhou Intellectual Property Court, and the China National Intellectual Property Administration (CNIPA); as well as industry experts' opinions and deliberation.

At the forum, experts and scholars from the Chinese Academy of Engineering, Beijing Intellectual Property Office, University of Chinese Academy of Sciences, and WIPO China Office, among others, gave keynote speeches and held discussions on hot issues related to the development of an independent, secure, and trustworthy industrial ecosystem, deepening of reforms in the field of IP, using IP to support high-level science and technological self-reliance, and intelligent patent systems based on large-scale AI models.
