CPA Deputy General Manager Moderates Thematic Session at IP Chains Strengthening and Efficiency Enhancement Dialogue 

On 28 November 2024, "IP Chains Strengthening and Efficiency Enhancement Dialogue" was held in Beijing during the Second China International Supply Chain Expo. The Dialogue, jointly organised by the CCPIT Commercial Legal Service Center, the CCPIT Patent and Trademark Law Office, and our firm China Patent Agent (H.K.) Ltd. (CPA), was participated by representatives from government departments, university academia, innovation entities, and IP firms.

Among the attendees was Mr. Xiong Yanfeng, deputy general manager of our firm, who also acted as moderator of a thematic session of the Dialogue, which focused on the discussion of "financial means to foster commercialisation of IP rights".

Guests engaging in the discussion included Mr. Lv Yi, director of Market Supervision and Administration Bureau of Xiaoshan District, Hangzhou city; Mr. Ma Bin, deputy director of Operation System Division of Intellectual Property Utilization Promotion Department of the China National Intellectual Property Administration (CNIPA); Ms. Zhong Jiali, deputy general manager of Intellectual Property Insurance Center of Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area of the People’s Insurance Company (Group) of China Limited (PICC); and Mr. Ba Te, deputy general manager of Shanghai International Intellectual Property Operation Management Co., Ltd., who all offered insights and contributed to the in-depth exchanges on frontier issues including IP financialisation, pledge and insurance.
