CPA always pays attention to actively fulfilling its social responsibilities and participating in public welfare undertakings. Over the years, staff members of CPA constantly took part in disaster relief and poverty alleviation work in mainland China, such as sending teachers to provide training for local teachers in Congjiang county of Guizhou province, and donating computers and books to promote education and use of computers among schools of impoverished areas.
CPA also earnestly supported China's intellectual property (IP) education work. The CPA Scholarship and CPA Study Tour Scholarship for students of Peking University Law School majoring in IP and Sino-German College of Shanghai Tongji University were set up with a view to contributing to the nurture of top-tier legal professionals and patent attorneys with international vision, integrity, and creativity.
Also, our firm has been promoting tree planting activities among its staff since decades ago. And through its friendship association and volunteer team, CPA Hong Kong Office regularly organises and arranges community activities for its staff, among them the "Football Ambassador" volunteering work hosted by the Fu Hong Society, and the bless-giving campaign of "My Hong Kong, My Home" co-organised with a local agency to carry out community services and give back to society. During the COVID epidemic, CPA's staff members voluntarily took part in the Hong Kong-wide activity of packaging and delivering anti-epidemic kits to tide over difficulties together with the less advantaged groups.
The following capture some of the mentioned activities and our staff's participation in the activities.
