CPA Lauded as the Best Chinese IP Firm in Leaders League Law Firm Awards 2016

On 16 June 2016, the International Legal Alliance Summit & Awards 2016 hosted by the French media and consulting group Leaders League was held in New York. The event gathered over 450 leading partners, general counsel, and IP directors from more than 40 countries including the US, Japan, China, the UK, France, Germany, Canada, and Mexico.

During the occasion, the Law Firm Awards were presented. The awards recognise the best corporate and IP law firms in their domestic market for their excellent annual results and lasting performance in management and leadership. China Patent Agent (H.K.) Ltd. (CPA) is pleased to share that our firm has once again been lauded as the Best Chinese IP Firm of the year, further to its winning of the title in 2013 and 2014.

CPA was the sole winner of the title selected by a 9-member jury from 10 shortlisted outstanding Chinese IP firms following a rigorous judging process. Members of the jury comprised chairman of the Leaders League, and legal or IP directors from Fortune 500 companies and major multinationals, including Schneider Electric, L'Oréal Group, Mitsubishi Gas Chemical Company, ABB Group, and Honeywell International.

Representing our firm at the summit and award ceremony was Mr. Yu Yansheng, director of CPA New York office. Mr. Yu made a brief speech during the award ceremony, expressing gratitude to the organiser on behalf of our firm for the special honour and to the clients for their long-standing trust and support, and stating that we would work even harder to provide the clients with the highest quality service.

In addition to the best IP firm award, CPA was also named a leading firm in the categories of patent litigation and prosecution as well as an excellent firm in trademark litigation and prosecution in Leaders League's 2016 rankings of China's top IP firms.
