CPA Participates in 4th Business of IP Asia Forum
The 4th Business of IP Asia Forum, organised jointly by HK SAR government, Hong Kong Trade Development Council, and Hong Kong Design Centre, was conducted in the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre on 4-5 December 2014.
China Patent Agent (H.K.) Ltd. (CPA) assistant general managers Ms. Kathryn Fu and Mr. Wang Jingchao led a 5-member delegation to the forum. As a sponsor of the event, CPA also held a booth at the forum for meeting the participants and answering their enquiries.
The theme of this forum was "Intellectual Property: Powering Business Expansion". There were two plenary sessions discussing the topics of IP business potential behind innovations and global patent strategies for emerging technologies respectively. Concurrently held were a number of breakout sessions co-organised with local or foreign partners, which explored issues concerning IP in practice and IP in relation to various businesses.
The forum was a yearly event. With an attendance of over 2,000 IP practitioners and professionals from more than 30 countries and regions, and over 80 renowned speakers to share their insight and expertise, the scale of this year's forum was the largest to date.
