CPA Beijing Holds 2014 New Staff Orientation
On 29-30 November 2014, China Patent Agent (H.K.) Ltd. (CPA) Beijing office held the 2014 new staff orientation for 31 recruits of the year. CPA general manager Mr. Zeng Xiangling, deputy general manager Ms. Tina Tai, and assistant general manager Mr. Wang Jingchao, along with management of CPA Beijing office including director Mr. Kong Zhiqiang, deputy director Mr. Wu Yuhe, and respective department managers were present to meet the new staff members.
The orientation familiarised the new staff with CPA's history and organisational culture, as well as briefed them on roles and responsibilities, job requirements, professional ethics, company policies and rules, and department operations. Moreover, our Legal Affairs Department deputy manager Mr. Xiong Yanfeng was invited to share his career stories and experiences at CPA with the participants.
During the orientation, the new staff were given time to speak. Some of them talked about their preliminary impression of the firm, many reflected on what they got from the orientation programme, and others revealed their career goals or raised job-related questions. The orientation proved to have effectively communicated to all the new members of the firm what they are anticipated in their roles and given them a clear picture of their career path and thus helped them with their career planning.
