CPA Wins IPBA Men's Basketball Championship for Second Straight Year
China Patent Agent (H.K.) Ltd. (CPA) Beijing office along with five other major intellectual property firms in Beijing, namely CCPIT Patent and Trademark Law Office, Kangxin Partners, Liu, Shen & Associates, NTD Patent & Trademark Agency Ltd., and Wan Hui Da Intellectual Property Agency, recently co-hosted the 2nd Intellectual Property Basketball Association (IPBA) tournament.
This year's tournament started on 13 April 2014 in Beijing Olympic Sports Center. Thanks to the support of the CPA management as well as the CPA team players' serious efforts in preparing themselves for the games and strenuous fight through the battles on the court, the firm was able to bring home the final championship trophy after seven rounds of games within two months. This is the second consecutive year that the CPA men's basketball team claimed the title.
On top of the title, the CPA team was granted a sportsmanship award, and one of its players Mr. Xiong Yanfeng from Legal Affairs Department was selected the best line-up and the best defensive line-up.
The IPBA was formed last year by CPA with four other peer firms to forge closer industry ties through friendship tournament.
