CPA Beijing Office Receives Visitors from CCOIC-Subsidised Sichuan Primary School

In the morning of 24 January 2014, the Beijing office of China Patent Agent (H.K.) Ltd. (CPA) was visited by some rare guests. They were two young students along with their teacher from Caixi Primary School located in Malu town, Qingchuan county in Sichuan province, China. 

 

The primary school was a project initialised by China Chamber of International Commerce (CCOIC) in the aftermath of 2008 Wenchuan earthquake to help recover the place of studies for young children in the devastated town. The school started operation in December 2009, thanks to the financial support of the CCOIC member enterprises.

 

At CPA Beijing office, the guests were warmly received by director Mr. Kong Zhiqiang, deputy director Mr. Wu Yuhe, and Patent Application Department manager Ms. Wang DanQing. During their meeting, Mr. Kong introduced to the guests some basic facts about the office, whereas the teacher briefed on the development of the school since its inception and the children shared stories about life at school.

 

Mr. Kong and Mr. Wu, on behalf of the firm, presented the guests with gifts and hoped that they would continue to spare no efforts in their studies and work as a way of contributing to the reconstruction of their home town. The meeting was concluded with an accompanied tour around the office.
