CPA Plays Host to Delegation of IP Officials & Agency Representatives from Shaanxi Province

On 8 May 2013, China Patent Agent (H.K.) Ltd. (CPA)'s Beijing office played host to a 15-member delegation from Shaanxi province, comprising IP officials and agency representatives led by Mr. Zhang Lianya, vice director general of Shaanxi Provincial Intellectual Property Office, and Mr. Zhang Sheng, director of Division of Policies and IPR Laws of the Office.

The delegation was greeted by CPA Beijing office's director Mr. Kong Zhiqiang, deputy director Mr. Wu Yuhe, and Patent Application Department manager Ms. Wang Danqing. At the meeting scheduled for the visiting guests, Mr. Kong briefed them on the firm’s historical development, practice areas, and organization structure, while Ms. Wang focused on internal procedures related to patent prosecution.

The meeting provided an opportunity for in-depth discussion on key topics and exchange of views among representatives from IP authorities and agency industry of Shaanxi province and CPA attorneys. After the meeting the delegates were led to tour the office and visit various departments of the firm.
