Beijing Association for Sci & Tech, Beijing IP Office Visits CPA
In the afternoon of 22 November 2011, a 14-member delegation of Beijing Association for Science and Technology (BAST) and Beijing Intellectual Property Office (BIPO) led by BAST executive vice president Mr. Xia Qiang and BIPO deputy director Mr. Pan Xinsheng visited China Patent Agent (H.K.) Ltd. (CPA)'s Beijing office.
At the meeting with the officials of BAST and BIPO, director of CPA Beijing office Mr. Kong Zhiqiang briefed on the profile of the firm in terms of its company background, organization structure, personnel and training, practice areas, corporate social responsibility, and publications. Mr. Wang Jingchao, deputy director of CPA Beijing office, then detailed on the operational aspects of the firm, including its business scope, work process, quality control, and growth over the years.
The BAST and BIPO officials gave full recognition of CPA’s influential role in the industry and its contribution to the community with respect to the cause of IPR protection. They also expressed their wish that CPA may continue its participation in the nurture of IP professionals and promotion of IPR education, as it has been actively doing in the past.
