CPA Attends IPO 2011 Annual Meeting in Los Angeles  

On 11-13 September 2011, a five-member delegation of China Patent Agent (H.K.) Ltd. (CPA) led by assistant general manager Ms. Tina Tai attended the 2011 annual meeting of Intellectual Property Owners Association (IPO) held in Los Angeles of the US.  

During the session, a wide range of topics were discussed, including: IP issues brought by the new technology of cloud computing, recent patent case law developments, legal issues surrounding genetic information research and development, patent landscaping, trade secrets, branding developments in the world of social networking, IPR damages, functional boundary of trademark rights, patentable subject matters, and US patent reform legislation.

CPA delegates are glad to meet many associates from variouis countries during the occasion, sharing information and exchanging views with them. They also made time to visit the firm’s clients in the city during their stay there.
