CPA Attends Pharmaceutical Trade Marks Group 83rd Conference in Prague
On 11-14 October 2011, China Patent Agent (H.K.) Ltd. (CPA) general manager Mr. Li Yong and trademark department deputy manager Mr. Li Yue attended the 83rd conference of Pharmaceutical Trade Marks Group (PTMG) in Prague, Czech Republic.
Revolving around the theme of “Pharmaceutical Trade Marks in a Shrinking World”, the conference had IP experts from different parts of the world to speak on topics including: current trademark issues in the Middle East, Czech Republic, and Mexico, counterfeit goods in transit, pharmaceutical industry and legal enforcement in BRICs (Brazil, Russia, India, China), the role of trademark, trademarks and history, and generic top-level domain.
More than 400 delegates from 311 corporate and IP firms globally participated in the conference. Mr. Li Yong and Li Yue took the opportunity to exchange views with the participants on patent and trademark protection issues, as well as share with them China’s latest development in IP-related law and practice.
