CPA Sponsors LESC-HK IP Forum 

On 13 November 2009, a forum “Intellectual Property Developments in China - an Introduction to the Revised Patent Law of China” sponsored by China Patent Agent (H.K.) Ltd.(CPA) was held at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. The event was co-organized by Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) and Licensing Executives Society China, Hong Kong Sub-Chapter (LESC-HK). 

Among the invited speakers, Mr. Yin Xintian, Director-General of Legal Affairs Department of State Intellectual Property Office (SIPO), gave a speech on the third revision of the Chinese Patent Law and its Implementing Regulations, and Mr. Dong Jiangxiong, Director of the Legal Affairs Department of CPA, presented his views on the newly released Interpretation of Supreme People’s Court on Issues Concerning Application of Law in Trial of Disputes over Patent Infringement. More than 130 Hong Kong IP industry participants from 76 enterprises, including attorneys, in-house counsels as well as professionals, academics and R&D specialists from local universities and research institutions took part in the event.
