8th China Copyright Service Annual Conference Held in Beijing

On 22-24 February 2017, the 8th China Copyright Service Annual Conference hosted by China Copyright Protection Center (CPCC) was held in Beijing. The theme of this year's CPCC copyright service conference was "Respect for Originality; Integration & Innovation".
Mr. Yan Xiaohong, deputy director of National Copyright Administration (NCAC), gave a speech at the conference, during which he stressed that originality was the key to innovation, whereas integrating copyright into industries an important means of fostering innovation of products and services and assisting supply-side structural reforms.
A number of theme events were conducted during the conference, including presentation of awards to CPCC Top Ten Chinese Copyright Owners of the Year, the 7th Forum on Digital Copyright Identification (DCI) System, a seminar on integrating copyright into film and television industries, a forum on copyright for products under the national cartoon industry development plan, Copyright Agency of China business exchanges; announcement of Top Ten Copyright-related Events in China 2016; and a forum on software copyright registration data mining and analysis.
