The 5th Asian Licensing Conference Held in Hong Kong
On 11-12 January 2016, the 5th Asian Licensing Conference (ALC), organised by Hong Kong Trade Development Council, was held in the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre.
Against the backdrop of rapid thriving of the licensing industry in Asia, ALC this year attracted more than 1,400 professionals from 23 countries and regions. Over 30 licensing experts and industry leaders representing reputed global brands, including BBC Worldwide, P&G, 20th Century Fox, Michelin Lifestyle, Walt Disney (China), and Sesame Workshop, gathered to share the latest licensing-related news from various industries, and examined the licensing opportunities and strategies in Asia as well as the challenges of tapping the mainland licensing market.
The conference, launched in 2012, has become the largest annual event of its kind in Asia, which also reflects the growing importance of Hong Kong as a licensing hub of Asia.
