China's Trademark Registration Application Fee to be Lowered Effective 1st October
Recently, National Development and Reform Commission and Ministry of Finance of China jointly issued the Notice on Reduction of Some Administrative Institutional Fees. According to the Notice, 20 items of administrative institutional fees involving 14 Chinese government departments will be lowered, effective 1st October 2013. Among the items mentioned in the Notice is the fee for paper application for trademark registration, which will be reduced from RMB1,000 to RMB800 per application.
