SAIC Modifies Instructions for Filling in Trademark Application Forms
-- New Instructions Effective as of 1 July 2010
The State Administration for Industry & Commerce of the People's Republic of China (SAIC) announced on 31 May 2010 that modifications have been made to instructions for filling in some of the forms for applying for trademark registrations and handling other trademark matters. The new instructions will be effective as of 1 July 2010.
It is reported that almost 20,000 trademark application documents are unaccepted yearly during recent years due to non-compliance with the requirements for filling in trademark application forms.
