CPA Commended as 2018 Outstanding IP Service Team in China
On 12 January 2019, the 9th China IP International Annual Forum & 2019 Annual Conference of In-house IP Managers hosted by China Intellectual Property Magazine was held in Beijing. During the occasion, several IP prizes recognising the performance of IP firms and practitioners who excelled in the past year were announced, and China Patent Agent (H.K.) Ltd. (CPA) was commended as a "2018 Outstanding IP Service Team in China". CPA has reaped the honour of outstanding IP service team for years in a row, which reflected recognition of our comprehensive, professional IP legal services by the clients.
The award was based on the rating of an IP service team's integrated strength using such indicators as professional expertise, service capability, research competence and team cohesion, as well as other relevant characteristics including stability, innovative ability and social responsibility observance of the team.
CPA deputy general manager Mr. Wu Yuhe attended the award presentation ceremony and received the award on behalf of our firm. The presentation ceremony was held during the China IP International Annual Forum which has attracted 800-plus attendees, including relevant government officials and IP experts, academics and industry practitioners from home and abroad, to explore this year's theme of "New Era, New Landscape, and New Equilibrium" and discuss issues relating to the new avenues for Chinese enterprises in terms of IP and innovation-driven development in both domestic and international contexts.
