CPA Attends 31st MARQUES Annual Conference
On 19-22 September 2017, China Patent Agent (H.K.) Ltd. (CPA) deputy general manager Mr. Luo Hong and CPA Beijing Office Trademark Department attorney Ms. Yu Xiaoying attended the 31st Annual Conference of MARQUES (the Association of European Trade Mark Owners) held in Prague, Czech Republic.
The theme of this year’s conference was "Brands & Culture", which explored how brands are shaped by cultural, political and social influences. Topics discussed during the conference included cultural trends in brands; cultural differences in trademark enforcement; non-trademark protection of corporate identity and advertisement properties; and brand life cycles-challenges and opportunities for the evolution of brands.
Mr. Luo and Ms. Yu as representatives of our firm had extensive exchanges of views and communications with counterparts from across the globe during the session.
