CPA Wins 5 Patent Infringement Cases on Behalf of US Client at Guangzhou IP Court
China Patent Agent (H.K.) Ltd. (CPA) recently won a series of five patent infringement cases on behalf of a US client at Guangzhou Intellectual Property Court (GIPC).
CPA was entrusted to handle the cases in partnership with a US law firm, and represented the client to file the suit against the infringing Chinese manufacturer with GIPC in 2015. Our concerted efforts throughout the legal proceedings over the past year have contributed to all of the five cases being concluded in favour of our client.
The GIPC ruling demanded that the infringer stop manufacturing, selling, and offering to sell the infringing goods; destroy the moulds for production of the infringing goods; and compensate our client for its loss of profit.
