SIPO Commissioner Visits CPA HK Office
On 3 December 2015, Mr. Shen Changyu, commissioner of the State Intellectual Property Office of China (SIPO), led a delegation to visit China Patent Agent (H.K.) Ltd. (CPA)'s Hong Kong office during his stay in the territory for the 5th Business of IP Asia Forum.
At our HK office, Mr. Shen and his colleagues had a meeting with the senior management of our firm. During the meeting our general manager Mr. Zeng Xiangling represented the firm to express earnest welcome to the guests, and briefed the guests on CPA's history and company profile, as well as related its long-standing cooperation with SIPO over the years.
Mr. Shen was impressed with the accomplishment and recognition gained by CPA as a Hong Kong-based IP firm serving clients both at home and abroad. According to his observation, our firm's success was attributed to its progressive business philosophy, well-targeted positioning, and a talent pool with international exposure. He hoped that CPA and SIPO would be able to further strengthen their ties of cooperation under the evolving IP landscape.
After the meeting, Mr. Shen and his colleagues were shown around the office, meeting staff members of our firm at various departments, conversing with them, and encouraging them to work hard toward new heights of achievement.
