CPA HK Office Welcomes Guests from Peking University Law School
On 13 October 2015, China Patent Agent (H.K.) Ltd. (CPA) was glad to receive Professor and Dean Zhang Shouwen, Professor Chen Meizhang, and their associates from the Law School of Peking University at its head office in Hong Kong.
The guests had a meeting with general manager Mr. Zeng Xiangling, deputy general managers Mr. Luo Hong and Ms. Tina Tai, and assistant general managers Ms. Kathryn Fu and Mr. Wang Jingchao. At the meeting, the guests exchanged views with our management in many areas, such as current legal environment in China, as well as direction of future legislative reforms and development. And by the end of the meeting both sides looked forward to exploring the possibility of collaborative research on topics of common interest.
The meeting also touched upon the cherished experience of mutual support and cooperation between the law school and CPA since the establishment of Intellectual Property School at Peking University. Years ago CPA set up a scholarship to support and sponsor the students of the university majoring in IP studies. At the same time, our firm also values very much the numerous IP talents nurtured by and graduated from the university, who served or are now serving as core members of its management and professional teams.
