CPA Delegation Attends 9th Business of IP Asia Forum
The ninth edition of the Business of IP Asia Forum (BIP Asia Forum), organised by Hong Kong Government, Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC), and Hong Kong Design Centre, was held in Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre on 5-6 December 2019.
The theme of this year's BIP Asia Forum was “IP: Building an Innovative and Inclusive Future for Business”. The forum brought together more than 70 international speakers, including professionals and business leaders from leading technology corporations to share their insights during the plenary sessions on the issues of "IP strategies for sustainable corporate growth" and "application and protection of IP in sharing economy" respectively. There were also breakout sessions coorganised with local and overseas partners, discussing a range of topics including world-changing technological trends, IP ecosystem in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, and IP infrastructure development and trends.
China Patent Agent (H.K.) Ltd. (CPA) attended the forum with a 5-member delegation led by general manager Mr. Zeng Xiangling and deputy general manager Mr. Luo Hong, who made exchanges of views with the forum participants leveraging the occasion. And as a sponsor of the forum, our firm also took part in the exhibition held during the event to answer the participants' queries on IP-related matters.
