CPA Delegates Attend MARQUES 33rd Annual Conference

On 17-20 September 2019, China Patent Agent (H.K.) Ltd. (CPA) deputy general manager Mr. Luo Hong along with Mr. Deng Ming, director of CPA Munich Office, and Ms. Yu Xiaoying, deputy manager of Trademark Department at CPA Beijing Office, attended the MARQUES 33rd Annual Conference held in Dublin, Ireland.
The theme of the MARQUES (Association of European Trade Mark Owners) annual conference this year was "Brands Confronting Change”. Eight sessions and four workshops were held surrounding the theme, addressing the challenges confronted by the brands, brand owners and industry practitioners in the ever-changing global political, economic, and cultural environment and discussing ways to deal with the challenges. The event had an attendance of over a thousand, including corporate representatives, IP attorneys, brand experts, and consultancy professionals, as well as delegates from European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO) and international IP organisations.
During the session, our colleagues made extensive, in-depth exchanges of views relating to the topics of the conference with their peers from different parts of the world.
