CPA Has 16 Professionals on ACPAA’s First List of National High Calibres in Patent Agency Industry
China Patent Agent (H.K.) Ltd. (CPA) is glad to report that in the first-ever selection of National High Calibres in Patent Agency Industry organised by All-China Patent Attorneys Association (ACPAA), CPA has 16 professionals on the list of 190 honourees being awarded the title.
The selection has interested 441 candidates from patent agencies nationwide to sign up since last June according to their respective category of speciality, namely, i) patent application drafting; ii) patent-related legal affairs; iii) international patent affairs; iv) patent agency management; v) patent strategy research; vi) patent teaching and training.
A selection committee comprising 29 members from the State Intellectual Property Office (SIPO) and major domestic patent agencies were responsible for the screening and review processes, based on a number of criteria including the candidates' education, qualification, seniority, accomplishment, calibre, professional ethics, and knowledge in IP laws and regulations.
