CPA Attends Peking University Scholarship Awards Ceremony
On 3 June 2011, the Law School of Peking University had its dean Professor Zhang Shouwen, other faculty officials, and some of its teaching staff as well as its scholarship donors and recipients came together for the 2009-2010 Scholarship Awards Ceremony.
China Patent Agent (H.K.) Ltd. ("CPA") , also one of the scholarship donors, was represented by Mr. Kong Zhiqiang, assistant general manager and director of CPA Beijing office. After the presentation of scholarships to the winners, Mr. Kong gave a briefing about the CPA Scholarship program and the firm itself. In his speech, Mr. Kong expressed on behalf of the firm its appreciation of the chance to take part in the scholarship scheme, which offers a good channel for the firm to honour its mission of corporate responsibility and active contribution to the society.

The CPA Scholarship has started operation since February 2011. It is available for application by the University's master degree students majoring or focusing on IP-related law studies. Part of the scholarship is specifically devoted to encourage overseas studies through supporting students of outstanding academic performance to participate in international exchange programs.
