SIPO Commissioner Visited Hong Kong
On 11 December 2008, Tian Lipu, Commissioner of the China’s State Intellectual Property Office was present at the meeting jointly held in Hong Kong by the Intellectual Property Department of the Hong Kong SAR and the Intellectual Property Bureau of the Guangdong Province for explaining and publicising the Intellectual Property Strategy, talking, in great detail, on China’s National Intellectual Property Strategy and answering questions asked by the participants. In the afternoon, Tian and his delegation attended the Forum of the Hong Kong BODW2008, and visited the Innovation, Technology and Design Expo, one of the activities held during the week. Later, Tian and his delegation visited the Hong Kong International SME Expo.
During his stay in Hong Kong, Commissioner Tian Lipu also inspected the main Hong Kong-based IP agencies of China.
