CNIPA Launches Online National IPR Aid Platform
On 26 April 2020, China National Intellectual Property Administration (CNIPA) launched China Intellectual Property Rights Aid Network (www.ipwq.cn) to provide the public with an online access to IPR protection assistance resources nationwide.
Over recent years, China has set up 31 IPR protection centres, 20 rights-protection facilitation centres and 76 IPR aid centers across the country to foster IPR protection work. Through the new portal website, users may locate the directory and contact details of these IPR protection agencies, fill in an assistance request to the relevant agency, send enquires, and search the results of their requests.
As an integrated resources platform, the website also contains such information as China's IPR polices and regulations, latest events at the agencies, local and international IPR news, as well as typical IP rights enforcement cases.
