QBPC Announces 2015-2016 Best Practice IP Cases & Model Cases Bridging Administrative & Judicial IP Enforcement
The 2015-2016 QBPC top ten practice cases in IP protection as well as model cases bridging administrative and judicial IP enforcement have recently been released by Quality Brands Protection Committee (QBPC) of China Association of Enterprises with Foreign Investment (CAEFI) at a meeting in Beijing.
The selected cases of the year comprised 10 best practice criminal cases and 10 best practice non-criminal cases, as well as 5 model cases bridging administrative and judicial IP enforcement. The said cases related to disputes over trademark and patent rights mainly in the areas of machines, electrical products, pharmaceuticals, daily necessities, and apparel.
The event gathered over 300 attendees, including representatives from relevant Chinese enforcement authorities, foreign embassies in China, chambers of commerce, international organisations, academic institutions, the media, domestic enterprises, and QBPC members.
