China Intellectual Property Law Association Convenes 2016 Annual Meeting in Chongqing
The 2016 annual meeting of China Intellectual Property Law Association was recently held in Chongqing of southwest China.
The theme of this year's meeting was "Innovation and Sharing: the Future of Intellectual Property Institution". The delegates at the meeting conducted in-depth exchanges and discussion on the relationship between IP and civil codes, amendments to the Patent Law and Anti-Unfair Competition Law, as well as such heated issues as IP protection for traditional cultures, the Internet and IP, standard-essential patents, and IP protection in free trade zones.
Also held during the occasion was the presentation ceremony for the 4th national intellectual property writing contest. The meeting was attended by about 500 representatives from colleges, research institutes, courts, and enterprises.
