Beijing Deploys Strategic Plans for State Organs Software Legalisation Work
Recently, the Beijing municipal government convened a conference to deploy strategic plans for the work of software legalisation at government organs for 2015. The software legalisation work for the year covers about 200 city-level state organs and 16 district and county governments in Beijing, and is scheduled to end by this October.
Beijing's software legalisation work, after several years' implementation, now enters the consolidation stage. That is, emphasis is to be placed on building long-term mechanism for institutionalisation of relevant work. In line with this purpose, Beijing Municipal Bureau of Copyright has been working on the formulation of the Administrative Measures for the Use of Legitimate Software in Government Organs of Beijing Municipality, which aims at specifying matters such as scope of responsibilities, supervision and inspection, software purchases and auditing, and penalty to assist orderly implementation of software legalization work in the municipality.
In addition, the result of the state organs software legalisation work has been newly incorporated as an item of appraisal into the municipality's Special Campaign against IPR Infringement and the Manufacturing and Sale of Counterfeit and Inferior Commodities.
