The 5th China IP Annual Forum & 2015 Annual Conference of In-house IP Managers Held in Beijing
The 5th China IP Annual Forum & 2015 Annual Conference of In-house IP Managers in China, co-hosted by China IP magazine and China Daily IPR Channel, was held in Beijing on 9-10 January 2015.
With a theme of "New Environment, New Trend, New Strategy", this year's forum gathered about 400 participants, including government officials, academics, in-house IP managers, and attorneys. The discussion panels touched upon such topics as the organisational structure, cases filing status, and jurisdiction of the newly established Beijing Intellectual Property Court; protection of IP rights on the internet; opportunities and challenges for enterprises engaging in IP under the new situations of China; and determination of unfair competition.
During the forum there was also a presentation ceremony for the awards of 2014 Outstanding IP Management Teams in China, 2014 Most Valuable IP Enterprises in China, 2014 Outstanding IP Litigation Teams in China, 2014 Outstanding In-house IP Managers in China, and 2014 China IP Most Influential People. The forum concluded with an IP training session focused on studies of typical IP cases in recent years on the second day.
