HKIPD & INTA Sign Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation in Trademarks
On 12 May 2014, the Hong Kong Intellectual Property Department (HKIPD), represented by its director Mr. Peter Cheung Kam-fai, and the International Trademark Association (INTA), represented by its president Ms. Mei-lan Stark, signed a memorandum of understanding on cooperation in trademarks.
According to HKIPD, the agreement aims at establishing a broad and flexible framework for future cooperation on trademark and related fields with INTA, in the areas including: invitations to programmes and meetings; co-operation in the organisation of programmes and meetings; development of training programmes; and development of programmes to the public.
The agreement was signed at the 136th annual meeting of INTA held in Hong Kong.
