7th China Copyright Service Annual Conference to Take Place in Beijing
The 7th Copyright Service Annual Conference hosted by Copyright Protection Center of China (CPCC) is going to take place in Beijing on 24-25 February 2016.
The theme of this year's conference is "Respect Original Creation & Create from Tradition". Officials from relevant authorities, leaders of the finance sector, legal and copyright experts and academics, as well as representatives from the creative and internet industries will gather to share their views on tackling of issues arisen in the course of cultural innovation as a core pursuit of the national development strategy.
The conference features seminars on review and innovation of the legal system for the era of design 3.0 as well as copyright service and financing matching. Moreover, the 6th forum on Digital Copyright Identifier (DCI) system will be held during the occasion. DCI system is a public service system developed by CPCC to facilitate copyright registration, royalty payment, and rights protection.
Programs of the conference also include the award presentation ceremony for 2015 Top 10 Copyright Figures of the Year, and the release of the Top 10 Events of Chinese Copyright 2015 by the National Copyright Administration of China.
CPCC as a national-level copyright public agency has held the annual conference since 2009 to provide a platform for exchanges of views and information sharing within the cultural and creative industries.
