Renmin University of China School of Intellectual Property Established

On 26 November 2009, the unveiling ceremony was held to declare the establishment of the Renmin University of China School of Intellectual Property. The Renmin University was the first university in China that began to offer academic program in the field of intellectual property. By the end of 2008, 470 graduates had finished their post-doctorate research programs, or had been conferred their PhD or Master Degree in Intellectual Property, and 740 had been conferred their second Bachelor's Degree in Intellectual Property. Now they work in Government agencies, courts, education establishments, research institutes, IP law firms and agencies.
