International Symposium on Intellectual Property Protection and Application

From 27 to 28 November 2009, the International Symposium on Intellectual Property Protection and Application convened at the Peking University, and was attended by more than 200 experts, scholars, judges, lawyers, IP attorneys and corporate representatives from the United States of America, the European Union, Japan,  Mainland China and Taiwan region of China, with speeches delivered on a wide range of topics covering IP dispute resolutions, damages calculation, establishment of special IP tribunal, standards and patents, well-known mark protection, the latest developments of foreign IP laws and practice, and intellectual property strategy.
