CPA Reaps Several Awards at CIPF Forum 2022

 

Recently, the China Intellectual Property Forum (CIPF) 2022 in conjunction with the 4th Science and Technology Innovation Forum were held in Beijing, carrying the theme of "Intellectual Property to Build National Security".

 

During the forum, results of the CIPF rankings of intellectual property (including anti-monopoly) service capabilities in China of year 2022 were released, and we are glad to share that China Patent Agent (H.K.) Ltd. (CPA) was ranked as one of the Top 5 Patent Agencies as well as on the list of the Top 10 Trademark Firms; moreover, CPA general manager Mr. Wu Yuhe was named among the Top 10 Best Patent Attorneys. Representing CPA at the awards presentation ceremony were our assistant general manager Mr. Xiong Yanfeng and Trademark Department manager Mr. Yin Longzhi.

 

 

 

The rankings of the CIPF IP service capabilities survey were derived on the basis of materials supplied by and available information related to the candidate firms and professionals; review of past top ten cases awarded by the Supreme People's Court of China (SPC), the Beijing High Court, the Beijing Intellectual Property Court, the Shanghai Intellectual Property Court, the Guangzhou Intellectual Property Court, and the China National Intellectual Property Administration (CNIPA); as well as industry experts' opinions and deliberation.

 

During the forum, experts from the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the Chinese Academy of Engineering, the Intellectual Property Court of the SPC, and the China Intellectual Property Society exchanged views and conducted discussion on issues such as the critical role of innovation in China's modernization drive, prevention and mitigation of major risks in the intellectual property field, development of higher-quality patents, brand and trademark protection in global markets, and the new rules on online copyright in relation to economic development.
