CPA Ranked Again as Top Tier Patent Prosecution Firm & 6 CPA Attorneys Named Outstanding IP Practitioners in MIP IP Stars 2021

(CPA) is glad to report that our firm was ranked this year by MIP in its IP Stars survey as a recommended firm in China in the categories of patent prosecution, patent contentious, trademark prosecution, and trademark contentious; and of the patent prosecution category, CPA was recognised as a Tier 1 firm, an honour which our firm has been awarded for years in a row, thanks to the recognition by peers and clients alike of our professional commitment and expertise.
MIP has been providing widely respected specialist guide to leading IP firms and practitioners worldwide on an annual basis for more than two decades. The rankings were derived based on six months' telephone, e-mail, and face-to-face surveys of thousands of corporations and law firms as well as the magazine's independent researches into published data and information, taking into account such factors as the candidates' caseload, work quality, professional proficiency, attorney team, client feedback, and market reputation.
In addition to leading IP firms, MIP has also revealed its 2021 lists for outstanding IP practitioners, and we are pleased to share that six of our attorneys were on the list, namely, our general manager Mr. Wu Yuhe and assistant general manager Mr. Xiong Yanfeng as Patent Stars of the year; attorneys Mr. Ke Ke and Mr. Tang Chunlong as Rising Stars; and attorneys Mr. Liu Peng and Mr. Wang Liang as Notable Practitioners. The outstanding practitioner lists were determined through broad-based surveys by MIP's research teams based in London, New York, and Hong Kong in combination with feedback and comments from peers and clients.
