CPA General Manager & Deputy General Manager Appointed as Panelists to CIETAC's New List of Arbitrators

China Patent Agent (H.K.) Ltd. (CPA) is pleased to share that its general manager Mr. Wu Yuhe and deputy general manager Mr. Yuan Shaohui were recently appointed as panelists to China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission (CIETAC)'s new list of arbitrators, with effect from 1 May 2021.

The CIETAC takes serious steps to maintain a high-calibre, professional, and international arbitration team, which it considers to be the key to ensure the quality and credibility of arbitration. In arriving at this new list, the CIETAC specially arranged six sessions of arbitration practical training in cities including Beijing and Shanghai, and the applicants' performance during the training, along with such factors as their expertise, professional ethics and ability, as well as peer comments on them, were taken into consideration in the decision about the appointment of panelists made by CIETAC's Arbitrator Qualification Review Committee and directors' meeting.

The CIETAC, established in 1956 under the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), is headquartered in Beijing with sub-commissions, arbitration centres, and liaison offices in major cities across China. It resolves economic and trade disputes for both domestic and foreign parties by means of arbitration and other alternative dispute resolution services.
