CPA Attends China Trademark Festival 2020

During 4-7 December 2020, a four-member delegation of China Patent Agent (H.K.) Ltd. (CPA) including CPA deputy general manager Mr. Wang Jingchao and Beijing Office Trademark Department manager Mr. Yin Longzhi attended the 12th China Trademark Festival (CTF). This year's CTF, organised jointly by China Trademark Association and Nanchang municipal people's government, was held in Nanchang, Jiangxi province in China.

During the festival, CPA was once again named an "Excellent Trademark Firm" of the year, reflecting our overall strength in the field of IP, as well as our high-quality service and wide recognition by the clients; moreover, during the occasion four CPA trademark attorneys, namely, Zhang Xiaowei, Ms. Liu Limei, Mr. Jiang Tao, and Ms. Gao Wenna, received the "Gold Medal Trademark Agency Service Individual Award".

The theme of this year's CTF was “Discussing Different Facets of Trademarks and Building the Future of Brands". The festival brought together government officials, IP experts and academics, and representatives from trademark agencies, enterprises, and IP organisations from home and abroad, sharing experience and information during the annual conference of the association, the main forum and sub-forums, and the China Brand Exposition afforded by the festival. CPA delegation also made use of these opportunities to make extensive, in-depth communication and exchanges with the attendees and our clients at the venues.

CTF is an important IP activity under the State Council’s Thirteenth Five-Year Plan for the Protection and Utilisation of Intellectual Property Rights and the China National Intellectual Property Administration (CNIPA)’s Promotion Plan for Implementing the Opinions on Strengthening Intellectual Property Protection 2020-2021.
