CPA Attends the 3rd International Business Intellectual Property Forum

The 3rd International Business Intellectual Property Forum was held in Jinan, Shandong province on 16 January 2020. The forum was jointly hosted by CCPIT Patent and Trademark Law Office and Shandong provincial government.

This forum carried a theme of "Intellectual Property Promoting Enterprises' Innovation Development", with four breakout sessions surrounding the theme to discuss respectively the topics of "IP innovation and development in Shandong province", "IP service and enterprises' innovation development", "IP protection and enterprises' innovation development", and "IP service facilitating enterprises' 'going global'".

More than 500 people from relevant government departments, industry associations, embassies in China, international organisations, multinational corporations, domestic companies, and IP firms participated in the forum to contribute to the study of how IP helps promote enterprises' innovation development. China Patent Agent (H.K.) Ltd. (CPA) assistant general manager Mr. Wang Jingchao was invited to attend the event; he was also the moderator of the breakout session on "IP service facilitating enterprises' 'going global'".

The forum is committed to strengthening international exchanges and cooperation in the realm of IP, which has increasingly become a strategic resource of national development and a core element of global competition, as well as engaging the business sector in development toward a mechanism for international IP governance.
