CPA General Manager Attends China Intellectual Property Society (CIPS) Standing Council Meeting
On 29 May 2019, China Patent Agent (H.K.) Ltd. (CPA) general manager Mr. Zeng Xiangling attended the fourth session of the 7th Standing Council of China Intellectual Property Society (CIPS) convened in Beijing.
The meeting was moderated by CIPS president Mr. Tian Lipu, who also made concluding remarks for the session, during which he emphasised the crucial role of IP to the overall development of the country, and expressed a positive outlook toward Chinese IP industry's momentum of growth. The work report and highlights of the year were presented by CIPS secretary general Mr. Zhao Zhibin, which covered the progress on the setup of a judicial expertizing committee under CIPS, promotion of international academic exchanges, reinforcing of IP service at local level, and matters related to CIPS's monthly journal Intellectual Property.
The meeting gathered over a hundred participants including officials from relevant authorities, as well as experts, academicians, and representatives from enterprises and other organisations.
