CPA Delivers IP Training in Macao to Enterprises of Macao & Portuguese-Speaking Countries

On 20 July 2017, at the invitation of Macao Trade and Investment Promotion Institute, Economic Services of the Government of the Macao SAR (MES), and CCPIT Representative Office in Hong Kong & Macao, China Patent Agent (H.K.) Ltd. (CPA)'s senior attorneys delivered intellectual property (IP) training at a seminar in Macao to enterprises of Macao and Portuguese-speaking countries.
The seminar was about how enterprises of Macao and Portuguese-speaking countries may obtain IP protection in mainland China. During the session, CPA Deputy General Manager Mr. Luo Hong, Patent Application Department Manager Mr. Ma Yongli, and Trademark Department Deputy Manager Ms. Yin Jie shared with the audience means to get access to patent and trademark protection in the mainland. They also illustrated with recent cases the situation of patent and trademark protection in the jurisdiction.
The seminar was sponsored by Macau Lawyers Association. It attracted over 60 attendees, mainly representatives from enterprises and law firms, to take part in the discussion of the subject.
