CPA Scholarships Awarded during Peking University Law School Talent Salon

On 23 April 2017, Peking University Law School Talent Salon - CPA Scholarship Session took place in Leo KoGuan Buidling of the University. China Patent Agent (H.K.) Ltd. (CPA) as contributor of CPA Scholarship was invited to attend the salon to award the scholarships and share experience in professional practice with students of the law school. Representing our firm were Ms. Tina Tai, CPA deputy general manager, and Ms. Wang Danqing, manager of Patent Application Department at CPA Beijing Office.

In the opening Mr. Lu Jiangnan, representative of the law school, remarked that CPA Scholarship has played an important role in cultivation of talents for the law school and proved to be conducive to the law school's' significant progress in various global rankings over the years. The scholarships were then awarded to the winners by Ms. Tai and Ms. Wang. Subsequently, Mr. Tai delivered a speech on behalf of our firm, during which she pointed to Chinese IP industry's phenomenal growth and its increasing influence on a global scale, and hoped that graduates from the law school would grasp the opportunity to contribute to the cause of the nation's IP development. She also looked forward to continued cooperation with the law school in this aspect. After the speeches, Ms. Tai and Ms. Wang together with other guests held conversations with the students with a view to enhancing the students' understanding of the profession in practice.

CPA Scholarship was launched in February 2011, and has now amounted to RMB406,000, benefiting 60-plus students to date.
