CPA Deputy General Manager Gives Lecture for 10th Session of 2016 ACPAA Patent Attorneys Induction Training
The 10th session of 2016 patent attorneys induction training hosted by All-China Patent Attorneys Association (ACPAA) was conducted in Shenzhen and ran for a week starting 28 August 2016. To prepare patent attorneys new to the field for the start of their career and help them meet statutory training requirements, ACPAA held about 15 training sessions of the kind each year in various major cities of China. This latest session was participated by around 300 patent attorneys from different parts of the country including Beijing, Shanghai, Guangdong, and Yunnan.
The topics covered by the induction training included patent agency industry profile and professional ethics, patent literature and patent search, drafting of patent application documents, replying office actions, patent reexamination and invalidation, design application practice, and PCT international applications. China Patent Agent (H.K.) Ltd. (CPA) deputy general manager Ms. Tina Tai was invited to give a lecture for the induction training on patent reexamination and invalidation. In her lecture, Ms. Tai expounded on the procedures of patent reexamination and invalidation as well as tricky issues in practice, with illustration by abundant typical cases. She also answered many queries related to the topic during the Q&A time. Her presentation combining knowledge, theories, cases studies, and practical experience was well-received by the participants.
