Chambers & Partners 2017 Directory Ranks CPA as Band One IP Firm in China
Chambers and Partners has recently released its Chambers Asia Pacific 2017 directory, which provided the lists of best firms and best lawyers for 41 jurisdictions in the Asia-Pacific region.
China Patent Agent (H.K.) Ltd. (CPA) was glad to be included again in this year's Chambers directory as a band 1 IP firm in non-litigation category in China. In addition, CPA deputy general manager Ms. Tina Tai was selected to the list of "eminent practitioners" in the same category, whereas CPA Trademark Department manager Mr. Johnson Li was lauded as an "up-and-coming practitioner" in IP litigation in China.
The China section of the directory spanned 20-plus specialist areas of law in the country. The rankings thereof were based on thousands of interviews and surveys conducted with leading in-house counsel over the past year, and took into consideration such factors as notable achievement, professional development, and client services of the candidates.
Chambers and Partners was found in 1969 in London, and started publishing Chambers Guide in 1990. Its legal directories have become valued references for clients across the globe seeking high-end legal services.
