CPA Attends Marques 28th Annual Conference in Copenhagen
On 23-26 September 2014, China Patent Agent (H.K.) Ltd. (CPA), represented by deputy general manager Mr. Luo Hong and Trademark Department attorney Ms. Yu Xiaoying, attended the 28th Annual Conference of MARQUES (Association of European Trade Mark Owners) in Copenhagen, Denmark.
The theme of this year's conference was "Traditional Brands in a Digital Market". Representatives from major companies, academicians, IP attorneys, and new media and marketing experts from different parts of the world gathered at the conference to share experience and information on issues including: new business models on the internet, moving brands into the digital market, website selling of counterfeit goods, as well as European trademark reform. There were also workshops on such topics as new Chinese Trademark Law, current status of new top level domains, and food labelling legislation.
Attended by 760 plus participants from dozens of countries including China, this year's conference is the largest scale of the association's annual conferences to date.
