CPA Wins Inaugural IPBA Men's Basketball Championship
Recently, China Patent Agent (H.K.) Ltd. (CPA) Beijing office, in order to forge closer ties with peer firms, joined hands with four other major intellectual property firms in Beijing, namely CCPIT Patent and Trademark Law Office, Kangxin Partners, Liu, Shen & Associates, and NTD Patent & Trademark Agency Ltd. in launching the Intellectual Property Basketball Association (IPBA).
The creation of the league was marked by a men's basketball championship, the debut of which was played in Beijing Olympic Sports Center on 3 August. Thanks to the tremendous efforts the players of its team put into the drills and practice before the games as well as their fighting spirits and team play on the court, CPA won its way through five rounds of most challenging matches to finally claim the championship title.
On top of the title, CPA team's performances reaped further honours. Several of its players were selected as league leaders, including one on the list of best line-ups and assists, two on all-defensive teams, and another on three-point shots.
