CCPIT Branches Visit CPA Beijing Office
On 10 December 2010, over 20 representatives from some local branches of China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) visited CPA Beijing Office. The guests were warmly received by CPA's top management, including General Manager Mr. Li Yong, Beijing Office Director Mr. Kong Zhiqiang and Deputy Director Mr. Wang Jingchao.
In giving an introduction about the firm to the guests, Genera Manager Mr. Li mentioned that CPA, as one of the largest IP agencies in China boasting of a 200-strong patent attorney team, used to devote more efforts to foreign-related IPR issues. The firm had made remarkable results in this aspect over the years, and now there seemed to be room for development in domestic IP agency business. As noted by Mr. Li, assisting domestic enterprises with the acquisition, protection and exploitation of IP rights is not only CPA's defined duties professionally, but also its corporate responsibility to the society at large. He hoped and anticipated that the firm will better serve the enterprises with the help of the CCPIT branches.
The Q&A session that followed had been a time for genuine exchanges. Mr. Li, while answering the guests' queries about CPA, also gained understanding of the needs of local enterprises from the CCPIT representatives.
