2009 Ten Excellent Performance Award Laureates of Trademark Law Firms Winning Trademark Lawsuits of Defence in China Announced

 

On 11 November 2009, announcement was made, at the 2009 Sino-Foreign Trademark Agencies Organisations' Cooperation and Development Summit held during the China International Trademark Festival, of the list of 2009 Ten Excellent Performance Award Laureates of Trademark Law Firms Winning Trademark Lawsuits of Defence in China. It was an event organised by the Trademark Agencies Sub-Association of the China Trademark Association. Ten trademark cases were selected for the Award, and China Patent Agent (H.K.) Ltd. (CPA) was one of them for the excellent work it had done in representing its French client, Bonneterie Cevenole S.A.R.L., proprietor of the “梦特娇” (translation of the “MONTAGUT” mark and pronounced “meng te jiao” in Chinese) trademark in a litigation involving a request for cancellation of the “梦达莉娇(pronounced “meng da li jiao” in Chinese) MONDALIJIO” trademark.
